Wanna hang out? Then the gaming track is where you want to be. Open most hours of the convention, from 10am to way, way, way, past midnight, means there is a lot of time to just pick up one of the many games available (or one of your own) and start playing.
The gaming track also has some scheduled events, including Apples to Apples on Sunday, Are You a Werewolf, and/or Werewolf of the Dark Arts every night and the role-playing game The Battle for Stone-Storm Island on Friday. Thus allowing even more opportunities to hang out with old friends and meet some new ones as well.
Beyond the bunches of posts I've made all over this year about the Tiger Haven Auction I have also contacted many people begging for donations from individuals. Some contacts I have made have been regular people who already know all about the auction and am simply bringing it back to the front of their minds. Others I have been contacting this year have been out of the ordinary. People who probably have never heard of our convention and auction and therefore would not normally donate.
Hi again everyone!
Attached you will find the donation form for donating an item to the Tiger Haven auction at MFM.
If you like being prepared you can print out these forms before you get to MFM and fill it out ahead of time to make your trip through donating as quick as possible. You will need one form for each item you are donating. If you are donating something as a set to be sold together then you can do one form for the whole set.
Gaming is really starting to heat up. We have more people running games and we are putting the final touches on prizes for the Poker Tourney.
There will be a RPG on Friday night starting at 8pm
Kris Schee will be the DM.
The Battle for Stone-Storm Island
That's right, 2010 is the year of the tiger. One great way to celebrate the year of the tiger is to be certain that our beloved Tiger Haven has the best auction possible. Bring your awesome donations with you to MFM and see me and my wonderful helpers to get your donation into the auction. Then be certain to be at the Tiger Haven auction on Saturday afternoon and make a bid on some of the really cool things you'll find.
"I'm not sure I can do this."
"Nonsense, you've been on this stage before, you've performed there."
"That was a long time ago. How did I let you talk me into this?"
"You'll do well, you were one of the best we ever had here."
"Again that's a long time ago, and this place has changed, remodeled, different."
"There's your line, get out there and do good." The tiger gave a sigh, then went out with the next line in the play.
We have a pretty good art track this year. With the exception of Iron Artist, all the art panels are conveniently located in one room. With that said, this is what's in store for you:
Friday:
*7p-8p: Manga Studio: Creating your own Comics. Hosted by Emira .Check out her FA website-http://www.furaffinity.net/user/emira
The opening of MFM 2010 draws closer and closer. As you start making lists of what to bring and what to see at MFM be sure to remember the Charity Auction.
This year the workers at Tiger Haven have experienced extra diffaculties and really need your support and help this year. Anything you can donate can really add up to help our favorite charity. Also very important is attending the charity auction. You never know when you'll find something awesome that you just have to have.
2010 Charity Schedule
Friday: Auction acceptance, 12 noon to 4pm
Are you ready to play? With just a little over a month to go we are putting the final touches this year's Gaming Track. If you have checked out Whispering Woods website we are in Mimosa on the 4th floor. We are going to have 4-6 open tables as well as 4 smaller breakout rooms for use.
