We've retooled our panels this year, shined them up, and given them a spiffy new focus.
Friday, August 31st
Guided Meditation (2PM-4PM in conference room 8)
We'll start with some basic explanations and exercises to help you understand how meditation can work for you and then work our way towards meeting a personal guide. Bring a pillow or blanket and get comfy, we're going for a ride and your own imagination is the vehicle!
Saturday, September 1st
Mythical Totem: Gryphon (2PM-3PM in conference room 10)
Put own by our own weirdeddie (Pshaw), new to staff and the spirituality track this year! Come explore the Gryphon's heritage and how it became a powerful symbol in Celtic heraldry.
Anthropomorphics Through the Ages: the Celts (3PM-4PM in conference room 10)
Join us as we explore the role of animal symbology and anthropomorphism used by the groups of peoples known as the Celts. We'll be looking at anthropological and archaeological artifacts as well as the myths themselves. Think you know about the Celts? What you find out just might surprise you.
Christian Furries (4PM-6PM in conference room 4)
The first half of the panel will be spent in a meet and greet. The second half of the panel will be devoted to discussing resolution of conflicts between Christian faith, participation in furry as a fandom, and how it relates to Christianity as a religion.
Also, we want your feedback and suggestions for next year! Please take the time to fill out our feedback and survey at the end of each panel you attend.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
