Reason why there is one t-shirt design?

I've been watching the t-shirt contest for a while, and I've only seen one t-shirt design.  Any ideas why?  Possibly all of the different conventions going on, otherwise no clue.  Any thoughts?

I've been waiting for them to anounce a theme. The last two or three cons have had themes, which the main shirt designs ended up having. I don't want to post a design, have a theme declared, and then have to work up a new one because my previous design didn't match.

So, yes, theme. I'm waiting for the theme.
