Now that we're four weeks out from the con, I just don't see any way that I'm going to pull it together, and I've got too many other things (personal and con related) that I need to get done this month. If someone else wants to take this idea and run with it, by all means be my guest, and I'll gladly participate. I have both a full kangaroo costume (Roopert) and a kangaroo hand puppet (Joe E. Roo) who is in essence Roopert's son (same furs and fleeces, same basic shape, etc.). I'd love to see something take shape - I'm just out of ideas and running rapidly out of time. Thanks and Cheers, Santa Fox P.S., I do have a personal fursuit skit for the Masq, and I've already volunteered to help at least one other person on a skit, so I'm not at all dropping out of the Masq completely. I also hope to work up a puppet act for the FVS as well, if I can find the time - shouldn't be too hard for me, considering that I concocted "One Little Pig" in the span of an hour during the con last year :-) -- Santa Fox's Den - http://santafox.home.comcast.net/ From wildfox34 at gmail.com Fri Aug 3 13:36:00 2007 From: wildfox34 at gmail.com (Mike Johnson) Date: Fri Aug 3 13:36:11 2007 Subject: [mfm_performance] Still looking for a fursuit act to be in! Message-ID: <68be40570708031136na20a6ebv6469fbcaf2532516@mail.gmail.com> Heya, Unfoutunately, since Santa Fox had to drop the idea of his "Steve Irwin Tribute Act", which was the only fursuit act I was in. Ummm... does anybody need an extra fursuiter for an act? Right now, all I'm in is a puppet act and that's not enough for me. :P I'll have my fox, Sprynger Roo, and Marquette (Bernese Mt. Dog) with me and available for any act needed! I'll take whatever part you throw at me and fill in wherever needed! :) Wildfox From santafox at comcast.net Fri Aug 3 14:25:50 2007 From: santafox at comcast.net (Santa Fox) Date: Fri Aug 3 14:25:56 2007 Subject: [mfm_performance] Help Needed On the Fursuit Skit I'm Doing Message-ID: <080320071925.7087.46B3813E0008CB7B00001BAF22073000339801000E9B020E9C@comcast.net> The fursuit act that I'm putting together is a new and different variation on the "Pet Tarantula" skit I did last year, only this time it's going to be with Billy the Goat as the animal doing tricks. However, in a similar vein, I do need someone to be the straight man in this act, to talk the audience through the tricks and be the 'butt' of Billy's comical humor. This person would not be in fursuit for this act. If you're interested in this role, let me know, and I'll send you the extended details off list. Thanks and Cheers, Santa Fox (And yes, I know how hard it is to find a straight man in the furry fandom :-P) -- Santa Fox's Den - http://santafox.home.comcast.net/ From blue_heel at fsun.net Mon Aug 20 20:11:11 2007 From: blue_heel at fsun.net (Doctor) Date: Mon Aug 20 20:11:24 2007 Subject: [mfm_performance] MFM: It's nearly upon us. Also, if you are a fursuiter, and don't have an act, don't worry. If you want to help out, I am looking for two fursuiters that aren't in any acts.
