Internet Room

Tigerden will be at MFM again this year with newly upgraded machines for the Internet den. Like last year, we'll have our own dedicated connection independent of the hotel's wireless which seems to have been badly bogged down in past years. We're there to help with any sort of Internet-related tasks. Among things you can do: print out travel maps or boarding passes, download and mail photos from digital cameras, retrieve files from CD, USB memory, or flash cards, or scan documents to files. Of course the usual web access, e-mail, IRC and MUCK clients, multi-protocol Instant Messaging, graphics editing and document creation tools will be available as well. The den will be open starting Thursday evening, and will remain open as late as availability of volunteer help will allow, hopefully 24 hours during the con.
